Frequently asked questions

Which energy comparison site can I trust?

You can best judge that yourself, with a few questions: how does the site make money, are all providers included, does it use the rate or the promotion, and do you have to hand over details before you see the result?

Many comparison sites receive a fee per switch, quote request or click. That need not be bad, but it can determine what appears at the top. A good comparison site says itself how it makes money.

Does it calculate everything together?

Solar panels, home battery, contract, car and heat pump affect each other, and now that net metering is ending, when you use electricity matters too. A comparison that looks at one part on its own, with an average price per year, misses that.
